Are my photos really never stored? โ–พ

Yes, never. Photos are sent to our AI for analysis and immediately deleted afterward. They are never written to disk on our servers, never saved in any database, and never seen by any human.

Only the text result โ€” your score, Bristol type, color, and tips โ€” is saved to your private history.

Is poo.ai a medical device? โ–พ

No. poo.ai is a wellness tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.

Think of it like a fitness tracker โ€” useful for noticing patterns over time, not a replacement for your doctor.

How do I cancel my subscription? โ–พ

Subscriptions are managed directly through your Apple App Store or Google Play account, not through poo.ai.

Can I get a refund? โ–พ

Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google directly, not by poo.ai.

Google Play: Visit play.google.com/store/account/orders and request a refund within 48 hours

How do I delete my account? โ–พ

You can delete your account directly within the app: Profile โ†’ Settings โ†’ Delete account.

This permanently deletes all your data including scan history, profile information, and account credentials. This action cannot be undone.

If you need help, email privacy@pooai.app and we'll process the deletion within 30 days as required by GDPR.

Why is there a daily scan limit? โ–พ

poo.ai limits scans to 5 per day for two reasons:

1. Health concern: Frequent checking can be a sign of underlying conditions like IBS flare-ups or health anxiety. We want to gently flag this so you can seek professional help.

2. Cost & quality: Each AI analysis has a real computational cost. Limiting scans keeps the service sustainable and ensures every analysis gets full attention.

Can I export my data? โ–พ

Yes. You can export your full scan history at any time from Profile โ†’ Export my scan history.

Available formats:

PDF Report โ€” printable, formatted, ideal for sharing with your doctor or nutritionist.

CSV / Excel โ€” raw data for your own analysis or spreadsheet tools.

The app crashed. What should I do? โ–พ

Sorry about that! Try these steps:

1. Force-close the app and reopen it

2. Restart your phone

3. Update the app to the latest version from the App Store / Google Play

4. If still crashing, email us at support@pooai.app with your phone model and OS version. We'll investigate.

Why does the app need camera access? โ–พ

The camera is the core of poo.ai โ€” it's how the AI analyzes your stool. We use live camera capture only โ€” gallery uploads are intentionally disabled to ensure every analysis is fresh and to prevent misuse.

No other permissions are required. We don't access your photo library, contacts, location, or anything else.

What payment methods do you accept? โ–พ

Payments are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play, so we accept any payment method they support โ€” credit cards, debit cards, PayPal (where available), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and gift cards.

poo.ai never sees or stores your payment information directly.
